Which math game is right for my child?
- Ages 4 to 6. Counting and ten frames in Count Critters, shapes in Shape Town, patterns in Pattern Parade, and making 10 in Bond Bridges.
- Ages 6 to 8. Tens and ones in Place Value Pirates, telling time in Clock Shop, counting money in Coin Cafe, and the number line in Number Line Leap.
- Ages 7 to 10, math facts. Touchdown Tally turns adding, subtracting, times tables and division facts into a real football game. Quick right answers give the team the edge on that play.
- Ages 7 to 11. Times tables to 12 in Multiply Mountain, fractions in Fraction Bakery, and area and perimeter in Acre Architects.
- Ages 11 to 14. Exponents, integers, percents and equations in Moon Math, and ratios to algebra in the later kitchens of Fraction Bakery.
- One game for many grades. Sumwhere Isles has ten islands of math for kindergarten to 5th grade, and Numeria lets you pick the level, from counting to algebra.
Math games by grade
Each grade page explains what kids learn that year and which game practices each skill: kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade. For one topic at a time, see fraction games and algebra games.
How our math games help
- Hands on first. New ideas start with something to touch: ten frames, base ten blocks, coins, clock hands, arrays and fraction bars.
- Real recall. In Touchdown Tally and Moon Math your child types the answer, so there's no guessing from choices.
- Mistakes that teach. A miss shows a short strategy, and tricky facts come back until they stick.
- Speed without stress. There's no countdown on the math in Touchdown Tally. Quick answers just give the players more zip, measured against your child's own pace.
- A view for grown-ups. Each game has a For grown-ups button that shows the skills it covers and what to practice next.
Math games to play together
Some of the best math practice happens side by side. Touchdown Tally has a 2 player mode on one device where each child answers facts at their own grade. In Coin Cafe you can play shopkeeper and count change out loud, and in Clock Shop you can ask what time it will be in half an hour. Away from the screen, counting by 5s along a football field is skip counting too.
No ads, no accounts, no tracking
Our math games are part of our kids area. There are no ads, no accounts, no chat and no analytics, and they load nothing from outside services. Progress stays in the browser on your device, and read aloud uses your device's own voice. Read the details in our privacy policy.
