Holiday card games
The holidays are when the cards come out: cribbage with a grandparent, Go Fish with the little ones, a serious game of euchre or pinochle once the dishes are done. We play the classic family card games with friendly computer players, and some of them you can play with family on one device or online. Practice before the visit, or keep playing after everyone's gone home.

Practice before the family game
Every family has a card game the newcomers have to learn. Our computer players are patient, so it's a good place to get the hang of it before you sit down at the real table:
- Euchre: Euchre Lodge lets you call trump and take tricks with a computer partner.
- Pinochle: Pinochle Porch has a friendly bidding helper and counts every meld for you. See also our pinochle online page.
- Canasta: Canasta Casita pairs you with a partner against two computer players. More on our canasta online page.
- Bridge: Bridge Brook has a bidding helper that explains every call, plus short lessons. More on our bridge online page.
- Hearts and Spades: Hearts Hollow and Spades Club. See hearts and spades online.
For the kids' table
Go Fish Pond and Crazy Eights are the classics most of us learned first, and they're still the easiest way to get kids playing cards. Memory Match is good for the youngest players, and Speed Slap is a quick race for kids who like to go fast.
Snowy solitaire
From November 23 to January 4, Canyon Klondike and Star Solitaire get snow and twinkling lights for Winter Lights, with winter goals and a keepsake to earn. Yukon Trail is set in a snowy pine forest all year. Our free solitaire games page has more to try.
