How the daily seed works
Each daily is built from two things: the game's name and today's date in UTC. Every player's device turns that pair into the same random numbers, so everyone gets the same hidden word in Letter Lantern, the same shuffle in Canyon Klondike, the same position in the Kingsway Chess Daily Puzzle and the same line of guests in the Copper Pot Kitchen daily shift. The puzzle is worked out on your own device, so there's nothing extra to download.
The date flips at 00:00 UTC. In the United States that's 8 pm Eastern and 5 pm Pacific during daylight saving time, and an hour earlier in winter. The daily leaderboards reset at the same moment, so everyone gets a fresh shot every day.
How streaks work
Finish a game's daily and that day counts toward its streak. Finish it again tomorrow (by the UTC date) and the streak goes up by one. Skip a day and it starts again at 1 the next time you play. Each game keeps its own streak, so a long run in Word Huddle is safe even if you miss a day of Moonlit Spider.
Streaks and your best daily score are saved in the browser on your device. Sign in with a free account, no email needed, and your scores post to the daily boards and your progress is backed up. The home page also keeps count for you: its Today's challenges ring shows how many of the day's dailies you've finished.
What makes each daily fair
- Solitaire deals are one shuffle for everyone. The Moonlit Spider Daily Deal is always a 1 Suit game.
- Chess and checkers give you a set puzzle. Crown Jump Checkers has three daily shots that get harder through the set.
- Shop games switch your upgrades off for most dailies, so a new player and a veteran face the same kitchen, salon or studio. In most of them only your first run each day pays coins into your shop, and replays are for a better score.
- Card table games like Hearts Hollow and Spades Club deal the same three hands to everyone, so you can compare your play hand for hand.

Finish the daily in that game once every UTC day. Miss a day and the streak starts again at 1. Each game has its own streak.
Can I replay the daily challenge?
In most games, yes, and your best score is the one that counts. In most of the shop games only your first run each day pays coins into your shop.
