What you do in each one

Willow Springs Spa is a spa game. You trace long massage strokes down a back, tap knots as they pulse, warm hot stones, paint a clay mask, pour tea to the line and tap singing bowls in time. A tranquility bar tracks the mood of the whole spa, and keeping it high makes tips up to 30% bigger. There are 58 treatments, and the two-chair nook under the willows can grow across five more locations, out to an island retreat.

Lacquer Lane is a nail studio. Every set is a tiny painting: file, paint inside the nail, cure under the lamp, trace a French tip, dot polka dots and drag gems into place. The design book has 64 designs from Classic Red to Galaxy and Holographic Chrome, and Free Design lets you invent your own with eight finishes, including chrome, jelly and cat eye.

The Velvet Chair is a hair salon and barber shop where the hair really changes. Cut along a line and the strands fall, fade the sides and the skin shows through, paint in color and it stays. The lookbook runs from a Trim and a Buzz Cut to Balayage, a Skin Fade and a Bridal Updo.

Suds & Paws is pet grooming. Sweep the sprayer over the coat, rub circles for a lather, dry, brush, trace a line with the scissors and tap at the right moment to clip a nail. You start with dogs, then cats arrive at reputation 2, rabbits at 5, and later guinea pigs, hedgehogs, mini pigs and parrots.

How the games work

All four share a rhythm. Guests arrive with a picture of what they want and a patience bar, and you tap one to start. Each step is graded, usually Perfect, Great, Good or Oops (the spa says Lovely instead of Great), and the average sets one to three stars. Three stars sells for 30% more and one star for 30% less, so a careful job beats a fast sloppy one.

Regulars with names and little stories drop by. In all four games, a regular's fifth happy visit teaches you their signature look, set or service, which you can't get any other way. Coins buy better tools, more chairs, decor and a small team, and your team keeps earning while you're away.

Calm modes and daily challenges

Each game has a practice room with no guests and no clock: the Studio at the spa and the salon, the Design Studio for nails and the Spa Studio for pets. They pay half price, but three-star results still count toward mastery. Every game also has a Daily Challenge with the same guests in the same order for everyone. In the nail, hair and pet games your upgrades are switched off for it, so the leaderboard is a fair test of hands.

Questions

Are these salon games free?

Yes. All four are free to play in your browser with no download and nothing to buy. Coins come only from playing.

Can I design my own nails?

Yes. Lacquer Lane's Free Design lets you pick a base color, a finish, a nail shape and up to three art layers, then save the design to your lookbook. Guests sometimes ask for lookbook designs and pay more.

Is there a hair salon game where you actually cut hair?

Yes. In The Velvet Chair every head is drawn from numbers, so the hair you cut falls, fades show the skin underneath and color stays where you paint it.

Do these games save my salon?

Yes. They save on your device as you play, and if you sign in on the site your salon is kept on your account so you can play it on any device.
